Netarhat Hill Station

Netarhat is a scenic hill station located in Latehar district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. Known as the "Queen of Chotanagpur", it is one of the highest points of the Chotanagpur plateau and is famed for its breathtaking landscapes, waterfalls, and forest-covered hills.

Geography

Situated at a height of 1,128 meters (3,701 ft), Netarhat lies on a plateau in the Pat region of Chotanagpur. The area is about 6.4 km long and 4 km broad. It’s covered with thick forests of Sal, Kendu, Mahua, and Eucalyptus trees, and the terrain features crystalline rocks topped with laterite.
